About us

The Society of Editors (SA) aims to:

  • provide peer support for editors in South Australia
  • promote editors and editing
  • enhance the quality of editing in South Australia
  • enhance the technological competence of editors and the Society of Editors
  • contribute to national debates about editing
  • develop the Society of Editors as a lead organisation for editors and editing in South Australia.

Bringing coals to Newcastle: Editors' book night

For our June meeting we’ve decided to imitate the Western Australian society in making books the topic of the night. As they pointed out, one of the main reasons that many of us end up in this profession is our love of books, so we look forward to a big roll-up.
