The Society of Editors (SA) aims to:
- provide peer support for editors in South Australia
- promote editors and editing
- enhance the quality of editing in South Australia
- enhance the technological competence of editors and the Society of Editors
- contribute to national debates about editing
- develop the Society of Editors as a lead organisation for editors and editing in South Australia.
Next meeting
First meeting for 2010
Our first meeting for 2010 will be held on 2 March at the SA Writers' Centre.
Celia Jellett will take us on her Adventures in Children’s Publishing.
Celia has belonged to the Society of Editors since its foundation and has earned national recognition as a Distinguished Editor. As senior editor at Omnibus Books she has worked with many of Australia’s illustrious children’s writers, artists and designers.
