The Society of Editors South Australia

Full membership of the Society is open to anyone engaged professionally in any aspect of editing for publication, full-time or part-time, or who has had such experience in the past. 

Associate membership is open to any interested person.

Membership subscriptions are $80 for full membership and $50 for associate membership. Rebates are available if you live more than 50 km from the Adelaide GPO or you are studying full-time in a recognised editing or related course.

Subscriptions are due at the beginning of the financial year (1 July). Members joining after 1 January pay half the annual subscription.

Residents of South Australia and the Northern Territory are welcome to join our society. If you live in another state, you might like to visit the Institute of Professional Editors website for links to your local society.

You can download a membership form as a Word document or PDF file. Print off either form, fill it out, and send it to the society. The Word version can also be filled out onscreen, saved and returned as an email attachment.

Renewing members should use the same membership form as new members.

You can deposit your fee directly to: ANZ, BSB: 015 056, Account No: 692030066. This is the preferred payment method. Please also email details of your payment and your name to the treasurer at SATreasurer@editors-sa.org.au.

You can pay by credit card, but there is a $5 surcharge.
