I am a freelance editor primarily of (but not limited to) academic papers and publications, including theses and dissertations. My special interests are assisting those for whom English is a second language and those who require help in writing clearly. I am punctual in meeting deadlines.

Experience

In-house:

Eighteen years as an academic editor, editing field research papers and overseeing the publication of serials and books from draft stage to publication, primarily in the areas of linguistics, anthropology and literacy.

Freelance:

Freelance editing work over the past five years has included theses, dissertations, a university textbook and smaller academic publications, as well as more general editing.

Other:

I have written a number of published academic papers.
