Submission of entries

Welcome to The Register of Freelance Publishing Services 2008-2009.

The Society of Editors (SA) accepts submissions for inclusion in the Register of Freelance Publishing Services at any time during the year. This online publication is widely promoted to private and government sectors by the Society and previous printed versions have proven to be a useful and worthwhile resource for both members and their clients. We hope that the 2008-2009 version will be even more useful and accessible, especially for future clients who find out about editing services via the Web.

Instructions for submission of entries

You must be a full member of the Society of Editors (SA) to be eligible for inclusion in the Register. If you’re not yet a member, or your membership has lapsed, click here to join.

Fill in an entry form

Entries may be submitted by downloading a Microsoft Word document, filling it in and e-mailing it back to us.

Fee

The fee for inclusion in the Register is $60 for the financial year 2008/2009. This includes one correction during that time (for example, a change to your e-mail address or phone number). Each alteration after that will attract a fee of $15.

You should pay for your entry at submission time. Simply download a payment form, fill it in and post it to the Society with your payment. We accept cheques and Bankcard, Visa and Mastercard credit card payments (credit card is preferred). If you require a receipt, please include a stamped and addressed envelope with your payment.

Editing process and confirmation of entry

Please provide your entry electronically. Your entry will be proofread, but it is up to you to ensure your entry is correct. Please check it before you submit.

Your entry will not be included until we receive your fee. Please print, fill out and post the payment form at the time you submit your entry.
