Full membership of the society is open to anyone engaged professionally in any aspect of editing for publication, full-time or part-time, or who has had such experience in the past. Associate membership is open to any interested person.
Membership subscriptions are $80 for full membership and $50 for associate membership. Subscriptions are due at the beginning of the financial year (1 July). Members joining after 1 January pay half the annual subscription.
