Society of Editors workshop refund policy

The Society of Editors (SA) Inc. will refund workshop fees in accordance with the following criteria:

1. All workshop fees will be refunded in full if a workshop is cancelled.   
2. A workshop fee that has been paid in full will be refunded in full if more than two weeks’ notice is given of the person’s inability to attend the workshop.
3. A workshop fee that has been paid in full will be refunded, less $10 to cover administrative costs, if more than one week’s (but less than 2 weeks’) notice is given of the person’s inability to attend the workshop.   
4. A workshop fee that has been paid in full will not be refunded if less than one week’s notice is given of the person’s inability to attend the workshop, unless the person presents a medical certificate or written evidence (e.g. family bereavement) of their inability to attend.
5. The committee may vary these conditions at their discretion under exceptional circumstances.
